Only buyers of completed orders can review a service

On a ready-made service or a custom offer, the review is left by the buyer, and only once they have accepted the final delivery and the order is marked completed. A seller cannot review their own service, and nobody can review a service they have not bought through the platform.

Projects are reviewed both ways

Projects work differently from ready-made services because they are a working relationship: once a project is completed, the buyer reviews the seller and the seller reviews the buyer. Those project reviews appear on the freelancer's profile.

Where a review appears

A review of a service appears on that service's page and on the seller's store. Each review carries a small label showing where it came from: a service order, a project or a custom offer.

Editing a review

A reviewer can edit their review for 60 days after publishing it, from the Reviews section of their dashboard. After 60 days the review locks. If a rating was entered by mistake, Zinn Hub® support can be asked to help.

Reviews that break the rules

Fake reviews, reviewing your own service, trading reviews and using a review to extort extra work are all prohibited. Anyone can report a review to Zinn Hub® support; a review that breaks the guidelines can be removed, and abusive reviewers can be banned.
