How Zinn Hub® ratings are calculated on this site

What the counts, averages and star breakdowns on this site cover, and why the lists start at a given star rating.

Counts cover the reviews shown

Each count is the number of reviews this site lists from a source, category or service — those at or above its star cut-off. The label beside it says which cut-off applies.

Averages are simple means

An average is the sum of the star ratings of the reviews shown, divided by how many there are, rounded to one decimal place. It is always labelled as the average of the reviews shown.

The star breakdown

Next to each average is a breakdown of how many reviews gave five, four, three, two and one stars, again across every review.

Why the list is filtered

The review lists show marketplace reviews and testimonials rated four stars and above, and Trustpilot and Google reviews rated three and above. Each list says so, and every figure beside it covers the same reviews.

Service pages

A service gets its own review page on this site when it has at least five reviews rated four stars and above and is still available on zinnhub.com. Its page shows the count and average of those reviews.
