Working with this Zinner has overall been a positive experience. He is fairly detailed in his email correspondence and covers most aspects of what needs doing. I engaged him earlier this year to assist me in marketing my two books and driving sales. He has successfully driven about 1.2 million impressions to the books, which is impressive in terms of reach and visibility. However, despite the high number of impressions, the actual sales have been very poor in comparison. Even after reducing the prices of the books, converting the impressions into purchases has been a challenge. It would be extremely helpful if the service could also put more emphasis on conversion strategies—not just exposure. All in all, I find the experience good, and I intend to extend my contract with this Zinner in the hope that moving forward he can help improve sales, not just impressions.
I've only been working with this marketing professional for sixty days, which may not be long enough to conduct a thorough review. He seems to have positioned my non-fiction book in several of the right categories, as I'm showing up in these categories and moving up. The next step is to fine-tune the categories that are performing well. Book sales are all about getting reviews on Amazon. No matter how good the book is, reviews activate Amazon's algorithms. I'm hopeful these refinements will lead to more sales.
Lets get to what counts. Impressions and clicks definitely went up. Used amazon ads in a innovative way I hadnt considered. Understands underpinning mechanisms of the amazon ad game. That said, I have not yet seen any increase on sales. That could speak to the quality of product I have on offer. Or it could also be as the freelancer insists, part of the long strategy to gain organic growth. Hard to say at this point. That said, compared to similar offerings on Zinn Hub, this freelancer was professional and used messages to effectively communicate his process and answr question instead of trying to upsell me to a 300 hundred dollar monthly subscription. So overall, well done.
